# Xcode Supported Again

Ever since Apple [disabled plugins](/content/blog/25-xcode-8-will-disable-all-your-plugins/index.html) in Xcode, we’ve been looking for a way to still show your code stats for Xcode without a plugin.  
Now, we’re happy to announce a native Mac app that adds back support for Xcode code stats!

[WakaTime for Mac](https://github.com/wakatime/macos-wakatime) runs in your system tray and uses Apple's accessibility features to watch for typing in Xcode.  
The time you spend coding in Xcode is now displayed on your [WakaTime Dashboard](/content/site-root.html) again.

Today we [released](https://github.com/wakatime/macos-wakatime/releases) the first working beta version.
